For the Beats on 2 Decks 2023 event at Rugby Sevens Stadium, Evolution was engaged to build a large-scale platform for a bar and restaurant setup next to the rugby pitch goal.

The platform had to accommodate 200 guests while offering a comfortable and elevated viewing experience.

Custom Platform Design and Construction

• Platform Construction: The platform, measuring 54,000 mm x 29,000 mm, was designed to support a heavy-duty structure with solid wood varnish finish flooring. The platform included pergolas for VIP guests and dedicated seating areas with barrels tables, bar chairs, and couches in the pergolas for general guests.
• VIP and Bar Setup: The VIP pergolas were designed to offer an exclusive and elevated experience for guests. A larger pergola was constructed to accommodate the bar and restaurant setup, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Health and Safety Compliance: The platform had to meet strict health and safety standards, ensuring it could withstand a live load capacity of 200 guests. Scaffolding braces and supports were installed to ensure the platform’s stability and safety. The project also adhered to the highest safety standards throughout construction.
• Lighting, Sound, and Branding: The platform featured lighting and sound systems to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, a printed vinyl banner measuring 54,000 mm x 4,000 mm was installed at the front of the platform to reinforce branding and event identity.

Timely Delivery and Post-Event Removal

Despite the complexity of the project, the platform was completed ahead of schedule to allow for setup of the restaurant and bar on time. After the event, the platform was promptly removed, as specified by the client, ensuring the area was cleared efficiently.
