FOREVER VALENTINO EXHIBITION

Doha, 2022

Working for Kennedy, a leading international experiential consultancy, Evolution Scenic delivered the finishing scope for the Forever Valentino exhibition at M7, the hub of design and innovation in Msheireb, Downtown Doha.

Celebrating the legacy of designer Valentino Garavani, the exhibition required a level of craftsmanship and detail worthy of his timeless elegance.

With 15 trucks of materials crossing borders, we transformed the space into a masterpiece of scenic design.

Inspired by the grandeur of the ancient Colosseum, we constructed a massive custom structure using metal, wood, and fabric to showcase Valentino’s collections. At the heart of the exhibit was the Gasometer structure, a 6-ton steel tube design meticulously engineered with a new fixing methodology to achieve flawless execution and exceptional craftsmanship.

Key features included:

• Powder-coated wooden shelves and 3D Mitoraj-inspired statues crafted from fiber tissue on MDF plinths.
• A metal and polycarbonate sheet ceiling with multicolored LED lighting and printed backlit fabric, creating a stunning sky-like effect.
• Multi-colored acrylic panels for signage, suspended from trusses with steel wire ropes, forming a striking backdrop for bespoke murals.

The Forever Valentino exhibition stands as a testament to Evolution Scenic’s ability to combine engineering precision, artistry, and innovation to deliver breathtaking experiences.
