As part of COP28, Heriot-Watt University hosted the Climate Hub, a two-week initiative designed to facilitate international dialogue and partnerships focused on sustainability and climate action.

The event, launched in late November 2023, welcomed global leaders and key stakeholders, with a notable highlight being the attendance of His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom.

Evolution was entrusted with transforming the venue into an engaging and immersive environment, ensuring a visually impactful setting that aligned with the event’s objectives.

Sustainable Scenic Solutions and Branded Exhibition Setup

• Custom Stage Design: Fabricated and installed a bespoke stage platform, integrating branding elements to support multiple panel discussions and performances.
• Branded Exhibition Walls: Produced self-standing eco-friendly walls and wooden signage stands, reinforcing the sustainability theme while creating a visually cohesive exhibition space.
• Vinyl Cut-Out Wall Art & Directional Signage: Designed and installed branding features, entrance flags, and directional signage to enhance navigation and event identity.
• Lobby Counter Branding & LED Screen Stands: Provided custom branding for key event areas, ensuring high visibility and a professional aesthetic.
• Elevator and Exterior Branding: Installed graphic elements across high-traffic areas to create a unified and immersive event experience.

Despite tight timelines and the challenge of sourcing sustainable materials, Evolution successfully delivered a high-quality, eco-conscious event setup.

The Heriot-Watt University Climate Hub effectively embodied the themes of climate action and sustainability, leaving a lasting impact on attendees and reinforcing the university’s commitment to global environmental dialogue.
