The 12th season of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) took place on November 16, 2023, at the prestigious Dubai Opera.

Under the theme of “Diversity,” the event celebrated extraordinary achievements in photography, bringing together an audience of art enthusiasts, industry professionals, and VIP attendees.

Evolution Scenic was selected to deliver bespoke scenic solutions that elevated the artistry of the event while aligning with its theme and grandeur.

Scenic Solutions Celebrating Diversity

Custom Arches with Integrated Lighting: Fabricated five large-scale arches, each 32m long and 6m high, featuring LED RGBW strips controlled via a Grand MA Controller. The arches were elegantly wrapped in high-quality black fabric for a seamless and sophisticated finish.
Curved Stage Extension: Built and installed a curved extension to the existing stage, finished with Delta carpet flooring to create a cohesive and polished performance area.
Gallery Installations: Designed and constructed branded gallery installations, including custom structures wrapped with high-resolution HIPA logo graphics and spray-painted finishes, serving as the focal point for the photography displays.
VIP Signage and Structures: Created exclusive customized structures with spray-painted finishes for areas near VIP seating, enhancing the visual experience for distinguished guests.
Flooring and Branding: Delivered and installed Marlin PVC flooring and high-quality carpet across the venue, ensuring functionality and aesthetic consistency.

Precision Execution and On-Time Delivery
The project required meticulous planning to meet the venue’s health and safety standards while adhering to tight timelines. All installations were completed and handed over the day before the event, allowing ample time for rehearsals.
