EXPO 2020 CLOSING CEREMONY

The grand finale of Expo 2020 took place center stage beneath the Al Wasl Dome. Evo Scenic was once again proudly commissioned to provide key elements for the show.
A backdrop of arches was conceived to compliment the beautiful lines of the dome itself. These arches needed to be self illuminated and completely mobile, so they could be set up as a show queue. We were also responsible for the show-stopping EXPO ring, a giant replica of the historical artifact on which the entire EXPO2020 design language was based. Beneath the rings carefully crafted fiberglass skin it was packed with technology, including programable LED lights, smoke and a huge programable water curtain provided by Aquatic Show all of which operated on wireless DMX. This challenging concept was delivered on time, on budget and to jaw-dropping effect. A fitting way to bid farewell to the incredible experience that had been EXPO2020. |
