Evolution Scenic was selected by Dragone to deliver extraordinary scenic elements for the Terhal show in Diriyah, Riyadh.

The project required the creation of movable scenic props that blended authentic design with performance-ready functionality, enabling the seamless execution of complex acrobatic performances.

Scenic Fabrication for an Immersive Show Experience

• Authentic Market Carts: Designed and built a range of Saudi street market carts engineered to double as parkour obstacles. Each cart was fabricated to meet the performers' rigorous safety and mobility requirements while maintaining an authentic aesthetic.
• Custom Land-Abra: Produced a fully functional, traditional Arabian boat mounted on a buggy cart system. The self-powered structure featured a practical steering tiller and a rustic scenic finish, seamlessly blending cultural authenticity with modern engineering.
• Collaborative Engineering and Finishing: Combined the expertise of engineering, fabrication, and scenic finishing teams to deliver robust and visually captivating props that could withstand the demands of a live performance.
• Adaptations for Performance: Addressed challenges during rehearsals by adjusting caster wheels with manual brakes to handle uneven, sand-like flooring and ensuring the buggy boat’s brake system functioned smoothly for precise stage maneuvering.

The Terhal project showcased Evolution Scenic’s commitment to integrating creativity, engineering, and practicality, delivering props that elevated the performance and immersed audiences in the magic of the show.
