GHADAN 21 - THE GATHERING

Held from March 19–21, 2019, at the Saadiyat Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Ghadan 21 - The Gathering brought together leading experts in urban planning and architecture for a three-day workshop organized by the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities (DPM).

The event centered on developing innovative urban projects to shape Abu Dhabi’s future, with participants collaborating on six key initiatives. The event concluded with a final presentation and awards ceremony celebrating the teams’ achievements.

Evolution Scenic was tasked with providing structural and fabrication solutions to transform the Saadiyat Rotana Ballroom into a versatile, multifunctional space. By working closely with the client, Evolution Scenic ensured the space seamlessly supported workshops, presentations, and panels while adhering to the event’s vision and technical requirements.

Turnkey Scenic Solutions and Execution

Custom Furniture and Scenic Fabrication: Designed and built bespoke workshop tables, decorative elements, and furniture tailored to the event’s functional and aesthetic needs.
Staging and Fit-Out: Installed carpeting, staging, and custom elements to create a professional and cohesive event environment.
Technical Integration: Provided truss systems and structural supports to accommodate AV setups and specialized equipment.
Venue Transformation: Reconfigured the ballroom to include distinct zones for workshops, an auditorium, and a stage for keynote speeches and panels.

Adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring precise execution, Evolution Scenic delivered a comprehensive fit-out that aligned with the event’s objectives.

The project’s success showcased Evolution Scenic’s ability to support high-profile events with innovative solutions and meticulous attention to detail.
