Evolution Scenic is a specialist scenic design, fabrication and installation company working across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. From our workshops in Dubai and Riyadh, our multidisciplinary teams create stages, sets, exhibition environments, brand activations, installations, parade floats, sculptures, props, immersive environments and one-off showpieces for live events, entertainment, culture, brands and permanent spaces.
Behind every project is a team of experienced designers, CAD specialists, carpenters, metalworkers, sculptors, scenic artists, textile specialists, printers, technicians and fabricators. By bringing these skills together under one roof, we develop, engineer, build, finish and install ambitious scenic projects while protecting the creative idea that started them.
WHAT WE CREATE
Scenic fabrication turns ideas into physical environments, structures and objects that people can walk into, around and through. From enormous stages and immersive environments to intricate sculptures, branded installations and one-off showpieces, we create work designed to command attention and become part of the experience.
Every project presents a different challenge. Scale, structure, materials, movement, finishes, transport and installation all influence how something needs to be built. Our teams combine creative thinking, technical understanding and specialist fabrication to find the right solution — whether we are working from a fully developed design or helping to work out how an ambitious idea can actually be made.
Our work appears in very different places and for very different audiences. We build scenic environments for live events, festivals, exhibitions, conferences, theatre and film, as well as brand activations, immersive experiences, installations and permanent spaces across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
Each environment brings its own requirements. A touring theatrical set needs to perform repeatedly; an exhibition needs to communicate a brand within seconds; a festival installation may need to withstand weeks outdoors; and a live event can require an extraordinary transformation within hours. Understanding where and how something will be used is fundamental to how we design, engineer and build it.
HOW WE BUILD
Great scenic work brings multiple disciplines together. Design, engineering, carpentry, metalwork, sculpting, scenic finishing, graphics, textiles and technical systems often need to work together within the same build. Bringing those skills together allows us to solve complex projects as a whole rather than treating each element in isolation.
From our workshops in Dubai and Riyadh, our teams take projects through technical development, prototyping and material selection into fabrication, finishing, testing and installation. Whether we are building something enormous, highly detailed, mechanically complex or completely unusual, the objective is the same: understand the idea, work out the best way to make it and build it properly.
Our workshops bring specialist scenic disciplines together in one production environment. From the first technical drawings and structural details through to fabrication, surface finishes, graphics and final assembly, our teams can manage multiple elements of a build in-house while maintaining control over quality, detail and the finished result.
That breadth also gives us flexibility. We can combine traditional craftsmanship with digital fabrication, specialist materials and technical systems, choosing the right process for each element rather than forcing every project through the same production method. Whether it needs to be cut, welded, carved, moulded, printed, painted, upholstered, engineered or made to move, we have the people and capabilities to work out how to make it.
OUR WORKSHOPS
Our production facilities in Dubai and Riyadh give our teams the space, equipment and specialist working environments needed to manage ambitious scenic projects at scale. Dedicated areas for carpentry, metalwork, 3D fabrication, scenic finishing, graphics, textiles and assembly allow different disciplines to work alongside one another throughout production.
With permanent scenic workshops in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, we have strong local production capability across our two core markets and regularly support projects throughout the wider GCC. Our work also travels much further. We have fabricated, packed and shipped scenic projects from our workshops to destinations around the world, managing the practical requirements of building for international transport, reassembly and installation as part of the production process.
Our workshops bring together experienced designers, project managers, technical designers, engineers, carpenters, metalworkers, sculptors, scenic artists, printers, textile specialists, technicians and fabricators. Each brings a different discipline to the build, working together from technical development and production planning through fabrication, finishing, assembly and installation.
Scenic work depends on judgement as much as process. Knowing which material will achieve the right finish, how something should be constructed, where additional strength is needed or how to solve an unexpected problem comes from practical experience. That knowledge runs throughout our production teams in Dubai and Riyadh, combining specialist craftsmanship with modern fabrication techniques to deliver work at every scale.
