Evolution Scenic main stage and integrated scenic architecture for Make it in the Emirates Abu Dhabi.

Large investment forums require exhibition environments that can accommodate multiple stakeholders, high-level presentations and formal business activity while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the venue. For Make It In The Emirates 2022 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, Evolution delivered a large-scale exhibition and scenic package supporting more than 1,000 attendees, including local and international investors and manufacturers.


Hosted by ADNOC in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Department of Economic Development, the forum showcased the UAE’s manufacturing potential. Evolution’s scope included more than 24 bespoke exhibition stands, a custom main stage, panel discussion and signing areas, large-format branding, wayfinding, furniture, counters and supporting structural elements.

The Challenge


The forum required multiple exhibition, presentation and business engagement zones to function together within one coordinated event environment.


More than 24 bespoke exhibition stands needed to represent different brands and industries while still contributing to a cohesive overall venue. At the same time, the event required a strong main stage for keynote speeches and official ceremonies, dedicated panel discussion areas and formal signing zones capable of supporting high-profile agreements.


The large number of individual elements meant that exhibition fabrication, scenic production, branding, furniture and structural components all needed to be coordinated carefully across multiple zones.

The Solution


Evolution designed and built more than 24 bespoke exhibition stands, with each stand tailored to reflect the identity of the organisation or industry represented.


A custom main stage was fabricated as the central presentation environment, incorporating scenic elements and branded finishes for keynote speeches, official ceremonies and other programmed content.


Dedicated panel discussion and signing zones were also constructed to support the formal business programme. These areas included the settings used for the signing of 32 Memoranda of Understanding during the forum.


Large-format graphics and branding were produced across the venue, including printed backdrops, signage and directional wayfinding. These elements helped maintain a consistent visual identity while supporting attendee navigation between the different exhibition and event zones.


Custom-built furniture, display counters and supporting structural elements were also supplied and installed, adding both functionality and visual consistency across the venue.


By coordinating exhibition fabrication, scenic production, branding and supporting infrastructure as one integrated package, Evolution created a venue that could accommodate the operational requirements of a large investment forum while maintaining a strong and coherent presentation throughout.

Make It In The Emirates 2022 was delivered as a large-scale investment and exhibition environment supporting more than 1,000 attendees and a programme of presentations, discussions, industry showcases and formal agreements.


The completed venue combined more than 24 individual exhibition stands with a central stage, panel areas, signing zones, branding and event infrastructure, creating a cohesive environment despite the complexity and variety of the individual spaces.


The project demonstrates Evolution Scenic’s ability to deliver large exhibition programmes where bespoke stand fabrication, scenic production, branding and functional infrastructure must be coordinated across multiple zones within a single high-profile event.
