High-profile forums require environments that support complex programmes while presenting a clear and consistent visual identity. For the Qudwa-PISA Global Competence Forum 2022 at Dubai EXPO2020, Evolution Scenic helped transform the venue into a professional event environment designed for keynote presentations, panel discussions, international delegates, VIPs and dignitaries.


Held on 19 February 2022 under the theme “Preparing Students to Live in an Interconnected World,” the forum brought together educators, policy experts and decision-makers to discuss global education standards and the future of learning. Evolution Scenic delivered a coordinated package of staging, bespoke scenic elements, furniture, signage and integrated presentation infrastructure to support the event programme.

The Challenge


The Qudwa-PISA Forum required a polished environment capable of supporting a high-level international programme while reflecting themes of education, innovation and global collaboration.


The venue needed to accommodate keynote presentations, panel discussions and live conversations, alongside the operational requirements of a diverse audience that included international educators, policy specialists, decision-makers, VIPs and dignitaries.


The scenic environment therefore needed to combine strong visual presentation with practical functionality. Staging, branded elements, furniture, screens, signage and audience circulation all had to work together as part of one cohesive event space.

The Solution


Evolution Scenic delivered a tailored scenic package centred around a custom-built main stage incorporating integrated LED screens for keynote presentations, discussions and other programmed content.


Bespoke partitions, backdrops and branded totems were produced throughout the environment, extending the visual identity of the forum beyond the main stage and helping create a consistent appearance across the venue.


Presentation and AV systems were integrated into the event environment to support panels, presentations and live discussions. The technical components were coordinated with the surrounding scenic elements so that screens and presentation infrastructure formed part of the overall venue treatment rather than appearing as isolated systems.


Furniture and seating layouts were also provided for participants, including areas intended for VIPs and dignitaries. The layouts balanced presentation requirements with audience functionality and the formal nature of the forum.


Clear signage and wayfinding elements were installed throughout the venue to support attendee movement and reinforce the wider visual identity of the event.
