Evolution Scenic main stage and integrated scenic architecture for Make it in the Emirates Abu Dhabi.

Large investment forums require exhibition environments that give individual organisations a clear identity while connecting every stand, stage and meeting area within one coherent visitor experience.


In 2022, ADNOC hosted the Make it in the Emirates investment forum at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Department of Economic Development.


The event welcomed more than 1,000 attendees, including local and international investors and manufacturers. Evolution Scenic designed and delivered more than 24 bespoke exhibition stands, a principal conference stage, panel-discussion areas, signing zones and supporting branded infrastructure.

The Challenge


The forum needed to showcase the UAE’s manufacturing capabilities while providing more than 24 participating brands and industries with distinctive exhibition environments.


Each stand required an individual identity, but the wider exhibition still needed to feel visually connected and straightforward for visitors to navigate.


The venue also had to support keynote speeches, panel discussions, official ceremonies and high-profile agreement signings. These activities required dedicated zones with different scenic and operational requirements.


Large-format graphics, directional signage, display counters, furniture and structural elements all needed to be coordinated across the venue without disrupting the consistency of the event identity.

The Solution


Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated more than 24 bespoke exhibition stands, tailoring the visual treatment of each space to the organisation or industry it represented.


Custom structures, display counters and branded finishes gave exhibitors functional settings in which to present their work and engage with investors, manufacturers and other stakeholders.


A large main stage was fabricated for keynote speeches and official ceremonies. Scenic architecture and applied branding gave the formal programme a clear focal point within the wider forum.


Dedicated areas were also constructed for panel discussions and agreement signings. The signing environment supported the completion of 32 Memoranda of Understanding during the event.


Printed backdrops, large-format graphics, signs and directional wayfinding elements were produced across the venue. These features reinforced the overall event identity and helped guide more than 1,000 attendees between stands and programme areas.


Custom furniture, display counters and supporting structural features were incorporated throughout the exhibition to improve functionality and maintain visual consistency.

The completed environment gave participating organisations dedicated platforms through which to present the UAE’s manufacturing capabilities to local and international investors.


More than 24 customised stands created a varied exhibition experience, while consistent graphics and wayfinding connected the individual spaces and helped attendees navigate the forum.


The main stage, panel areas and signing zones supported the event’s formal programme, including the signing of 32 Memoranda of Understanding.


Through coordinated stand fabrication, scenic production and spatial planning, Evolution Scenic delivered a functional environment that supported investment discussions, manufacturing showcases and stakeholder collaboration.
