Programme launches require environments that communicate purpose clearly while creating opportunities for guests to understand, explore and engage with the initiative being introduced.


For the Medeem Launch Event at Erth Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Evolution Scenic delivered a comprehensive scenic and branding package for the Department of Community Development, in collaboration with Fazaa. The initiative was created to support Emirati youth preparing for marriage, with the launch bringing together more than 100 attendees from different sectors.


From the main stage and branded partitions to interactive booths, digital touchpoints and wayfinding, Evolution Scenic created a cohesive physical environment that supported both the formal launch and the programme's interactive content.

The Challenge


The event required several distinct environments to operate within one consistent visual identity. A formal main stage was needed for the launch programme, while interactive areas had to communicate Medeem's services and allow guests to engage directly with tools including the Wedding Calculator.


The scenic solution therefore needed to integrate LED, touchscreens, television displays, printed graphics and branded architectural elements without creating visual inconsistency across the venue.


The team also needed to respond to last-minute branding requirements while maintaining the quality of finish and completing installation ahead of the event schedule.

The Solution


Evolution Scenic fabricated a series of bespoke scenic and branded elements designed around the different functions of the launch.


The main stage incorporated a 4.5-metre-wide LED wall, framed by printed fabric backdrops and positioned above a sisal-carpeted platform with integrated LED strip lighting. This created a clean focal point for presentations while maintaining the event's visual identity.


Double-sided branded partition walls were fabricated using durable carpentry construction, providing both space division and additional branding surfaces throughout the venue.


For the interactive experience, Evolution Scenic created a dedicated stage incorporating touch-screen kiosks, TV screens and branded fabric backdrops to present the Wedding Calculator. Additional interactive booths integrated screens, branding and display elements to communicate other aspects of the initiative.


Outdoor branded flags, wayfinding signage, custom counters and bespoke lecterns extended the visual language throughout the wider guest journey.


The team also responded to last-minute branding requirements and coordinated logistics and installation to ensure all scenic elements were completed ahead of schedule.

The completed environment provided Medeem with a professional and cohesive platform for introducing the initiative to more than 100 attendees.


The combination of formal staging, interactive installations, digital displays and branded scenic elements allowed guests to experience the programme through multiple touchpoints while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the venue.
