Fabricating The Main Stage
The main stage formed the principal scenic structure within the installation.
Evolution Scenic fabricated a 4.5-metre-wide LED wall, complemented by printed fabric backdrops and a sisal-carpeted platform. LED strip lighting was integrated into the platform construction, adding a further layer of illumination to the scenic structure.
The result was a purpose-built presentation environment rather than a collection of freestanding technical and branding elements. The printed fabric provided the finished backdrop surfaces around the LED display, while the carpeted platform established the physical base of the stage. Integrating LED strip lighting into the platform allowed lighting to become part of the scenic construction itself.
Constructing Branded Partition Walls
The project also required physical space division within the venue. Evolution Scenic designed and constructed double-sided branded partition walls using durable carpentry materials.
These structures performed a practical function while providing finished scenic surfaces on both sides. Their construction enabled the branded environment to continue beyond the main presentation stage and helped define different areas within the installation. The double-sided approach was particularly suited to a venue environment where fabricated structures could be viewed from multiple directions.
Creating An Interactive Stage
A separate interactive stage was produced around the Wedding Calculator experience. The structure incorporated touch-screen kiosks, TV screens and branded fabric backdrops, bringing digital interaction into a custom-built scenic environment. This required the scenic construction to work around multiple pieces of display and interactive equipment while maintaining the branded appearance of the installation. The result was an environment designed specifically for the content being presented rather than a generic stage or exhibition stand.
Delivering A Coordinated Scenic Installation
The Medeem Launch required a diverse collection of fabricated elements rather than one single scenic structure. The main stage, interactive stage, booths, partition walls and supporting branded items each served different purposes, but needed to operate as one coherent temporary environment. Evolution Scenic's role brought these requirements together through a combination of scenic fabrication, carpentry, printed textiles, branding and technology integration.
