The world premiere of CEER’s first flagship vehicles marked a significant milestone for Saudi Arabia’s automotive sector.

Held on 21 September 2026 at the CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), the event officially revealed the EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV. CEER presented further details on the design and features of the flagship vehicles following the reveal.

For the launch, Evolution Scenic worked with Balich World Shows to fabricate and assemble the large-scale scenic structures that formed the physical stage environment for the vehicle presentation.

The brief required a stage designed around movement, incorporating substantial screen structures, a garage-style back wall, movable side walls and vehicle revolves within one coordinated scenic environment.

What Evolution Scenic Delivered

Evolution Scenic was responsible for the fabrication and onsite assembly of the main scenic structures for the CEER Global Reveal.

The Scenic scope included:

  • Complete stage wall structures
  • Two large side screen structures, Alpha and Charlie, each approximately 17 metres wide and 6.5 metres high
  • The central Bravo screen structure, approximately 14.4 metres wide and 6 metres high
  • A garage-style back wall
  • Movable side wall structures
  • Scenic requirements associated with two 6-metre-diameter vehicle revolves
  • Aluminium tube fabrication
  • Polycarbonate scenic surfaces
  • Modular construction for transportation and onsite assembly
  • Onsite assembly, alignment and installation

These were not conventional static stage walls. Several structures formed part of the wider automated reveal environment, requiring Scenic to fabricate the physical elements around the movement, rigging and technical requirements of the production.

Large-Scale Aluminium Scenic Fabrication

The main scenic structures were fabricated using aluminium tubes, creating the framework required for structures extending to almost 17 metres in width.

The aluminium frameworks were finished with polycarbonate sheets, providing a lightweight scenic surface while also accommodating the requirements of the final projection treatment.

The movable side wall configuration also incorporated custom-made MS tracks as part of the scenic package.

At this scale, material selection needed to consider more than appearance. Weight, stability, movement, projection requirements, transportation and onsite installation all influenced how the structures were fabricated.

The completed scenic elements needed to maintain their visual form while integrating with the wider technical systems required for the reveal.

Scenic Structures Designed for Movement

Movement formed an important part of the CEER stage environment.

Alpha and Charlie were developed as large movable side structures, while the central Bravo structure formed part of a separate movement sequence. Two 6-metre vehicle revolves were also incorporated into the wider reveal package.

Evolution Scenic fabricated the large aluminium structures, while Evolution Technical was responsible for the associated automation, movement systems, rigging and commissioning.

This required close coordination between the two disciplines.

For Scenic, dimensions, structural stability, weight and finishing could not be considered independently. Each element needed to interface accurately with the technical systems that would ultimately control its movement during the show.

Modular Fabrication + Onsite Assembly

Transportation presented another significant consideration because of the physical scale of Alpha, Bravo and Charlie.

The structures were therefore designed and fabricated in modular sections rather than transported as complete scenic elements.

The aluminium structures were delivered to the CEER Manufacturing Complex and assembled onsite using nuts and bolts, supporting efficient installation and dismantling while reducing transportation risk, particularly for the large polycarbonate surfaces.

Once onsite, the individual modules needed to form complete structures with the correct alignment and stability.

This made onsite assembly a critical stage of the Scenic delivery rather than simply a logistical process.

Precision at Scale

The size of the scenic structures made accurate assembly particularly important.

With Alpha and Charlie approaching 17 metres in width and approximately 6.5 metres in height, relatively small differences at individual connection points could become more significant across the completed structure.

Maintaining alignment and overall stability was therefore one of the key onsite challenges for the Scenic team.

The installation also took place inside an operational automotive manufacturing facility, requiring the wider production team to coordinate around venue infrastructure, access, existing services and HSE requirements.

For Scenic, this meant completing the assembly and alignment of the stage structures within an environment that had its own operational requirements alongside those of the live production.

Integrating Scenic + Technical Production

The CEER project required scenic fabrication and technical engineering to operate as connected parts of the same stage environment.

Evolution Scenic delivered the physical aluminium structures and scenic surfaces, while Evolution Technical developed the systems responsible for their movement, automation and rigging.

The wider production also required coordination with projection, lighting and other technical disciplines, ensuring the scenic structures could support both the visual treatment and the functional requirements of the reveal.

This cross-disciplinary approach was particularly important because the stage architecture itself formed part of the presentation sequence rather than simply providing a static background.

Supporting the EXOBOT World Premiere

The completed scenic environment formed part of the official World Premiere of the CEER EXOBOT sedan and SUV, CEER’s first flagship electric vehicles.

The project demonstrates how scenic production for automotive launches can extend beyond conventional stage construction.

For Evolution Scenic, the CEER Global Reveal combined large-scale aluminium fabrication, lightweight scenic surfaces, modular construction, movable scenic elements and precision onsite assembly within one project.

Each component needed to meet the creative requirements of the launch while integrating with the technical systems behind the vehicle reveal.

The result demonstrates Evolution Scenic’s capability to deliver large-scale scenic fabrication in Saudi Arabia, combining workshop production, onsite assembly and technical coordination for a major automotive product launch.
